Hebrews 11:1-3 - Faith is the substance of things hopped for. The evidence of things not seen.
God has given us something to believe in, which save us from death. If we believe in his son whom He gave us, we will have eternal life. (John 3:16 - Paraphrased)
It is only through faith we can be saved - Rom 10:9-10
If you confess with your mouth the lordship of Jesus and you believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
This salvation is the eternal life that John 3:16 talked about.
This salvation is also the new creation 2Cor 5:17 talked about.
2 Corinthians 5:17 - ...If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away, behold all things are become new. The key word here is 'Behold'. In other words, SEE everything in a new way, that's God's way.
This salvation is the eternal life that John 3:16 talked about.
